"Laser Cutting in Structural Solutions", the successfully concluded event jointly sponsored by the “Promozione Acciaio” foundation and BLM GROUP combined academia and industry in a series of talks by several established industry professionals.

Adoption and collaboration are key factors in driving success in the targeted markets. The LASTTS (LASer cutting Technologi for Tubular Structures) project was a key presenter at the event. LASTTS brings together the efforts of universities, institutions and private companies, including BLM GROUP and the European community. The goal of this project is to propose state-of-the-art structural solutions using laser cutting technology to increase the competitiveness of the steel construction industry.
