IP Karting S.r.l., based near Verona, Italy, makes go-karts under the famous Praga brand by combining innovative spirit and modern production control technologies. 

Established in 2011, IP Karting makes 2,000 go-karts a year and is one of the four largest go-kart manufacturers in the world.

The target

The BLM ELECT40 tube bending machine was the right answer to guarantee quality, automation and production speed.

The solution

The production of IP Karting has changed since the ELECT40 arrived.

The tube bender, equipped with B_Tools, automatically compensates for springback and elongation during bending and saves a great deal of time and material.

IP Karting works on three curves. The engineer's program is in 3D using the VGP3D system and transfers the program directly to the machine where the operator can start working straight away without wasting time on tests.

ELECT
The all-electric technology of the ELECT tube bending machine guarantees accuracy, maximum repeatability and automatic adjustments with torque control. The organization and technical assistance service ensure constant support.
