BLM GROUP presents its new sheet metal processing solutions at EuroBLECH 2024

September 2, 2024 - 9.32 AM

At EuroBLECH 2024, BLM GROUP presents the LS7 sheet metal laser cutting system with a 20 kW power source and automatic warehouse in a compact tower version for 24/7 continuous production. The new 20 kW LS7 retains all the features of its lower power versions.

LS7: high performance, low power consumption and excellent cut quality
The LS7 is a compact high-performance laser machine with ultra-fast pallet change, only 9 seconds, laser cutting head sensors and specific Active Tools features to automatically optimize the cutting process and maximize energy efficiency.
Thanks to its fiber source, it can process a wide variety of metals, including aluminum, brass, stainless steel, copper, and mild steel.
Its gantry structure combines aluminum and polymer concrete elements to give strength and lightness to the machine, ensuring excellent performance and acceleration beyond 2g. Special attention has been paid to ergonomics and ease of use, with the HMI (human-machine interface) and the windowed door located next to the operator console, which allows access to the work area (with the machine off) for cleaning or maintenance operations.
The machine on display at the exhibition is equipped with a gas mixer system that combines gases automatically to further improve cutting quality and speed. The system requires no special maintenance procedures or extra space for installation as it is fully integrated into the machine.

Automation for sheet metal laser
LS7 not only occupies minimal floor space but can also be equipped with various systems for sheet metal automation, such as automatic loading/unloading or automatic compact tower storage. Solutions that enable increased production rates, with 24/7 production.

Other solutions for tube processing will also be on display at EuroBLECH.

ELECT150
Full electric tube bender available in a left-hand or right-hand bending configuration, for tubes up to 150 mm in diameter. The machine, equipped with the latest VGPNext programming software, enables bending with a high degree of difficulty and excellent surface finish. Demonstrating this, the exhibited machine will perform bending of a 110 mm diameter tube with only a 90 mm centerline radius, while maintaining an unparalleled aesthetic finish.

LT7
The Lasertube LT7 is the result of years of investment in technological research and continuous development of innovative software and hardware solutions. This fully automatic system enables the processing of tubes from 12 mm in diameter up to 152 mm and 23 kg/m in weight, with excellent cutting performance. From the smallest to the largest diameter, all adjustments are automatic, and even open profiles such as "L", "U" and flat sections are considered part of standard machining and processed fully automatically.
The machine on display at the fair is equipped with the automatic insertion unit for threaded inserts, which expands the possibilities of the laser cutting system and simplifies production by eliminating intermediate handling and storage. A robotic sorting system is also featured at the output for the orderly unloading of parts.

LT-FREE
A 5-axis 3D laser cutting cell for processing three-dimensional metal profiles for a wide range of industries including electric vehicles, plant engineering, motorcycles, automotive, plumbing and furniture. The fair displayed machine is equipped with a large working area for processing stamped and sheet metal as well as a robot for single-cycle processing of bent and hydroformed tubes. Complementing the offering will be some interesting additional cutting process optimizations and operator support
features presented at the fair for the first time.
