Paris, May 2022. The BLM GROUP will be present at Tolexpo in France, Hall 6, booth B71, showcasing a sheet metal laser cutting system and automatic tube bending. The event will be held from May 17th to the 20th in Paris and will bring together over 2,300 exhibitors. . We will be showcasing an LS5 fibre sheet metal laser cutting system and an E-TURN automatic tube bender with left and right-hand in-process bending capabilities.
LS5, the 12kW sheet metal laser cutting system, is ideal for unmanned operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
LS5 is a high-end, fully automatic, flexible and productive sheet laser cutting system. It is equipped with an IPG fibre laser source of up to 12kW and a Precitec Zoom 2.0 head. It is available in several configurations (3000 mm x 1500 mm, 4000 mm x 2000 mm and 6000 mm x 2000 mm) with an in-line or transverse pallet changing system.
The LS5 can be equipped with Active Tools, a compiled suite of cutting-edge technical solutions to achieve the best results in less time regardless of the operator's experience: Active Piercing for increased cutting performance on thicker material, Active Cool for improving the workpiece cutting quality using water cooling, Active Camera for helping the operator to make the most of the material by managing the nesting with a simple drag&drop method on the machine interface screen, and Active Nozzle Changing for automatic replacing of the cutting nozzle and monitoring of its wear whenever it is required.
The fully automated tube module can be quickly installed, even after purchasing the sheet module, while automatic sheet loading and unloading systems and magazine towers can be added at any time making this system extremely versatile and capable of adapting to the most diverse production needs.

The first piece is right with the All-Electric E-TURN tube bending machine
The E-TURN is an all-electric tube bender with ia same cycle left-hand and right-hand bending capability and VGP3D graphic visual programming.
The E-TURN is extremely flexible. With the All-Electric technology, adjustments and bending technology parameters are saved in the software to guarantee repeatability and quick production changes, with no need for manual adjustments. Furthermore, B_Tools calculates the amount of springback and material elongation during tube bending so that the first part of every production change is right from the start.
Thanks to the ability to bend leftwards and rightwards in the same cycle, E-TURN can produce an almost unlimited variety of geometric shapes on the tubes, eliminating the need to weld together several different components or to divide the bending process over several machines. This makes it the ideal solution for designer furniture and industrial engineering along with many other sectors where quality and repeatability of results must be combined with production flexibility.
E-TURN can be fed manually or automatically using a bundle loader, which can be positioned on the right or left side of the machine.

A complete software suite for managing your process technologies

Artube is the BLM GROUP CAD/CAM software for programming Lasertube systems enabling operators to draw, manipulate and design single parts or complex tubular assemblies of any section. Artube is the most complete and dynamic CAD/CAM solution capable of adaptabling to the customer’s specific needs.
VGP3D is the three-dimensional graphic programming software for BLM GROUP tube bending machines and wire benders. Simple, user-friendly and powerful, the VGP3D is also available in an office version and allows the operator to create any shape or geometry with the tube with a few simple clicks.
Protube is the BLM GROUP production MES, a single interface for easy and transparent management of part programs for the main BLM GROUP machines. Protube can be used to prepare technologically precise work orders in the office, to efficiently plan production, send production orders to the connected plants and keep track of all operations.
