Students and professors from the University of Waterloo (Canada) and Purdue University (USA) visited our headquarter for an interesting exchange of ideas and opportunities. The visit, coordinated by UCIMU with the cooperation of Agenzia ICE was included into the IMTTA initiative, Italian Machine Tools Technology Awards, a competition which involves qualified foreign students with an engineering background.
Students were offered the opportunity to submit a study on technologies in the field of metalworking, that could lead to improvements in processes and/or product characteristics.
