LW-S
Robotic laser welding cell
Configure your machine with what you need
Heat conduction welding
Perfect for making furniture elements with smooth, rounded welding joints or sealing airtight vessels, manifolds and exhaust systems.
This technique can join the welded edges of the part and make the weld seam perfectly smooth or even invisible.
Pulse welding
Unmatched quality on light-weight alloys, thin gauge parts, joint angles or critical welding points.
In cases where thermal energy needs to be contained over the entirety of the part, pulse welding yields joints with zero imperfections.
Cold wire welding
Full filler material penetration and increased technological versatility.
Cold wire welding is perfect for applications with imperfect part joining or where adding alloys to the solder bath is required.
Keyhole welding
Perfect joining of thick mechanical parts or several layers of material.
The laser penetrates deep inside the part, leaving an extremely thin track to give you efficiency, speed of process and impart greater strength to the welded joint.
A technology for every need
Fixed-optics or wobbling technologies together with a wide variety of welding methods and advanced features of the LW-S deliver the ideal solution for your every need by robustly and efficiently welding a wide range of metal materials and thicknesses.
No contamination, maximum reliability
The Cross Jet device helps keep the protective glass free of dust and debris.
The machine alerts the operator to new contaminants, so that the protective glass is replaced only when needed.
With or without cold wire, easy to switch out
Safe production with head edge sensors that protect welding devices from collision. Wire and nozzles can be conveniently hooked, unhooked and safely stored as needed.
Service gas: What you need, where you need it
Decide when and where to deploy gas optimally to reduce costs.
The three assist gas lines follow separate paths on the laser welding head or on the part support jig. Thus, gas flows can be balanced the most effectively and used only when needed.
Keep an eye on your consumption
Monitor energy consumption at all times.
The machine measures power absorption in real time, so it can be utilized efficiently to optimize production.
Details make all the difference
Convenient internal and external blow guns allow parts to be cleaned during both loading and unloading.
Thus, the welding area remains free of contamination and dust is actively removed from finished parts.
Active Tools:
Delivering a solid competitive edge in welding!
Active Tools:
Delivering a solid competitive edge in welding!
Let Active Tools support you in all phases of your work
Increases productivity and reduces rejected parts, improving final joint quality.
With Active Tracking, this allows the machine to track weld edges and delivers quality work even with irregular weld edges.
Monitor the welding process with unprecedented visual quality.
With Active Viewer you can see the progress of the process as if your eye were only a few inches from the weld pool. It delivers immediate feedback on the process and weld pool imperfections can also be recorded and reviewed.
Let the machine sense the progress of the process and alert you if the parameters deviate from the set range for optimal welding. Thus, time and money are saved by reducing the amount of rejected parts.
Reduces the cost of part and jig preparation.
The machine manages the cold wire feeding rate and provides a robust welding process even with irregular gaps between edges.
Offline programming via CAM
Import the 3D part from CAM, program the work cycle, then simulate the welding process and cycle time. All conveniently off-line from the office. All the efficiencies to save time. All while the machine is producing more parts.
Program on the fly via Teach Pendant
When producing small batches or prototypes, teach your plant what it needs to do directly at the machine. Define trajectories, set welding parameters and advanced features of the LW-S.
Prioritize safety
Work risk-free with the highest safety standards: the LW-S is a CE-certified, Class 1 production system.
The fully enclosed welding zone protects operators from laser radiation and is equipped with sensors that prevent the machine from starting when tripped by an operator.
